Indian Agency Cabin — For several months the Historical Society has been in discussion with the owners of the Historic Colville Indian Agency Cabin in Chewelah for the transfer of ownership of the cabin to the Historical Society.  more info
Open For The Summer — Come see all the new exhibits. Several have been rebuilt over the winter. There are new train, school, Indian basket, mining and hospital exhibits, In our WWII exhibit we have added several Japanese artifacts. The most obvious change is the new front entrance, all about the great falls on the Columbia.
